Here at the Department of Mass Communication of the Nile University of Nigeria, we train our students on the philosophical and theoretical aspects of journalism, media studies, public relations, advertising, newspapering and magazine layout & graphic design, as well as taking them through the practical experiences of making them do it themselves. The Department is well equipped with the highly experienced Professors, who are highly grounded in the theory of the profession augmented with deep experience in the real world media industry. The Department housed the-state-of-the-art studio facilities, with the latest media production gadgets. Additionally, we augment our practical training with visits to media houses so that our students will have the opportunity to compare what they are learning at the Department with what is out there in the industry.

Beyond the academics, here at the Department of Mass Communication, we operate as a family, we make sure to run and survive together. No member of the family deserves to be laid off regardless of the odds.
