See over N1b bullet proof cars impounded by Custom
The Nigeria Customs Service Officers have impounded about 13 bullet proof cars worth more than a billion naira. The vehicles, however, are reportedly smuggled.

The Customs on Tuesday announced that it has impounded exotic vehicles which were imported into the country without payment of duties/levies.

The Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs Service, Col Hameed Alli (Rtd) revealed this while addressing journalists in Abuja concerning the seizure of the vehicles.
He said the 18 suspected smuggled cars were seized from a car dealer in Abuja named Kefiano Motors Ltd.

Out of these 18 vehicles seized, 13 were bullet proof without the mandatory End-User Certificate which is usually issued by the Office of the National Security Adviser.

The 18 vehicles impounded are two Range Rovers, one Rolls Royce, four Lexus, three G-Wagon, two Prado, one Lincoln Navigator, one Infinity, one 4matic, two Toyota Sequoia and one Toyota Camry.
